Article 4: Exporting Media Assets
We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement to the Storyline Media Library that allows producers to export media assets directly to Mimir, creating a more seamless and efficient distribution workflow.
With this update, producers can quickly send media from Storyline to Mimir without leaving the platform. Within the media editor, producers can scroll down the right rail and select the “Export to Mimir” option. From there, they are prompted to choose a station and confirm the export. This streamlines the process of making assets available in Mimir for broader use and distribution.

Caveats
Exporting to Mimir is dependent on station selection and user access permissions.
Steps to export media assets to Mimir
1. Select on any media assets from the media library.
2. In the media editor, scroll down the right rail to find the “Export to Mimir” option.
3. Selecting the button opens a prompt to choose a station you have access to; the selected station is applied as metadata to the exported asset in Mimir.
4. Select Export. Upon successful completion, a green toast confirmation message will be displayed.
